2021 Renewals

OISC is supplying renewals by e-mail to facilitate companies as they navigate different working conditions during the COVID pandemic. Please review your e-mail.

Application Review Timeline


Our office is currently experiencing a significant increase in pesticide product applications. As a results of this increase, OISC anticipates the following application review and processing timelines for new or revised pesticide products:

OISC does not mail pesticide product registration certifications. However, the applicant will receive an automated e-mail from our database when the product has been registered and, therefore, can legally be sold, distributed or used within the state of Indiana.


2021 Multi-State 25(b) Audit


Details for the multi-state audit for 2021 are below. The audit includes all currently registered 25(b) products. Audit materials must be received by the states by 12/31/20.

Pesticide Product Registration Application Directions


General Information:

Application Fee
- The annual fee is $170.00 per product

Late Filing Fee - $170.00 per product

Make Checks Payable to - INDIANA STATE CHEMIST

Registration Term - All registrations expire December 31 of the registration year


  1. ALSTAR submissions, or
  2. E-mail label to
    1. Format labels as follows:
      - The label must be in text-searchable PDF format
      - The file name for each label must match the 10-digit IN REG number of the product. This number is the first column on the renewal listing.
      - Include all portions of the label in a single PDF document (e.g. container label and label booklet)
    2. Within the e-mail, please include the changes/revisions to the label.
NOTE: If an application cannot be processed as submitted, the applicant will be given 30 days after notification to correct deficiencies.
